Life Care Center of Elizabethton, Tennessee, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality measures (including pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls).
“I have a wonderful and dedicated staff that truly cares about resident outcomes and providing top-notch customer service,” said Angi Bradnan, executive director. “It is truly gratifying to see all of our hard work being recognized by Medicare.”
The center received the rating in February 2016, after achieving a deficiency-free state survey in December.
“Life Care Center of Elizabethton’s focus has been on excellence and to give the best care to our residents and patients,” said Jennifer Solomon, vice president of parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Appalachian Region. “The associates are dedicated, and this accomplishment shows how they work together as a team to have great outcomes.”
