On Oct. 30, 2017, Sandra Lewis, a certified nursing assistant at Life Care Center of Elizabethton, Tennessee, received the CNA of the Year Award for Life Care Centers of America’s Appalachian Region.

Lewis has worked at the building for 21 years. She was chosen for her work ethic and for going out of her way on holidays to make things festive for the residents and associates....
