Life Care Center of Elizabethton sponsors Boys & Girls Club dinner

On Aug. 24, 2017, Life Care Center of Elizabethton, Tennessee, sponsored a table at the annual Boys & Girls Club Steak and Burger fundraising event.

All the adults who attended the event were served burgers, and each table had a child representing the Boys & Girls Club who was served steak....

Life Care Center of Elizabethton honors PTA with animal shelter drive

On June 1, 2017, Life Care Center of Gray, Tennessee, and Life Care Center of Elizabethton, Tennessee, lost Donna Shell, physical therapist assistant at both centers, to cancer.

Associates wanted to honor Shell’s memory in a special way. Since she loved animals, the teams decided to gather donations for the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter....

The skilled nursing and rehab facility sponsored a billboard honoring Elizabethton City School students who scored a 30 or higher on the ACT exam....

In 2016, Life Care Center of Elizabethton, Tennessee, started a new tradition for National Nursing Home Week: a dance-off for associates.

The tradition continued during National Nursing Home Week 2017. On May 18, two teams of associates competed for the bragging rights of best dancers....
